Feeling festive yet?
With the amount of fairy lights the JHAV team have put up for Theatre Royal Plymouth’s festive season, it’s hard for us not to!
What have we added to the Front of House area?
- 2500m of warm white curtain and fairy light string
- 100m of twinkly fairy lights for the tree on the balcony
- 100m of festoon
- Even a few snowflakes!
We can’t take credit for the Christmas trees highlighting the various community projects the theatre is involved in, or Santa’s sleigh. That’s all the hard work of the theatre elves.
We think it looks amazing and we’re sure you do too.
Project Manager John Hibdige said, “It was great to be asked to support the Theatre Royal with this project, it really got everyone in the festive spirit and was great to see everyone’s reaction to all of the fairy lights and snowflakes. We’re looking forward to working on it again in the future and already have a few ideas for next year.”
We hope that the people attending this year’s pantomime, Father Christmas and The Star Who Danced enjoy the festive feel upon entering the Front of House area.
In the words of our Event Administrator’s 4-year-old daughter, “Wow, it’s a magical grotto!”
