About the role
This is a great opportunity to join our warehouse team, to ensure that our comprehensive equipment stock is ready and in good working order for our various national and international events. The successful applicant will work closely with warehouse team, Event Technicians and Project Managers regarding all aspects of each job, ensuring accuracy of all preparation and dispatch requirements.
This job role requires flexibility as some out of office hours will be required and seasonal weekend work.
Duties and Responsibilities
Working closely with warehouse team, Event Technicians and Project Managers regarding all aspects of each job, ensuring accuracy of all preparation and dispatch requirements.
Loading and unloading flight cases and general equipment into company vehicles & trucks.
Prep and de-prep of equipment for upcoming events in conjunction with the warehouse team.
Using Current RMS (rental management software) – checking equipment both in and out of the warehouse with barcode and asset tag system.
Rental stock repairs – assist with repairs, breakages and servicing.
PAT testing – Annual testing of existing rental stock.
Responsible for supervising of freelancer crew when in the warehouse.
From time to time assist with the delivery/collection and installation of events.
Liaising with third parties/other trade hire companies of logistics of sub hire items.
Qualifications, skills, and attributes
Essential
Good technical knowledge of AV equipment.
PC literate
Driving Licence (due to our location).
Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Strong communications and interpersonal skills along with a good sense of humour.
Professional, approachable and a positive manner who understands the flexible nature of the events industry and who is used to working unsocial able hours.
Ability to set priorities and work under own initiative.
Physically fit and able to undertake any manual labour required in this position.
Desirable
A background in electronics.
Previous warehouse experience.
Forklift licence
Knowledge of Current RMS or similar stock control systems.
