About the role

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Working single-handedly and with the warehouse and operations management team to deliver the scheduled service and inspection of equipment and ensuring equipment is ready and in good working order for events.
Proactive preventative maintenance of kit as well as reactive repair work.
Repairing the equipment inventory, as well as working with manufacturer repair centres for complex or warranty work.
Repairing, designing and maintaining cable assemblies.
Managing the PAT Testing and any periodic testing needed.
You may also have opportunities to work on custom projects with the Project Managers and Install team.
Qualifications, skills, and attributes
Essential
Technically competent with a good working knowledge of the repair/service industry or have a background in electronics, but not necessarily the events industry.
Ability to fault find.
Ability to self-manage your working week.
A can-do attitude and proactive approach.
Able to set own priorities, make decisions, and work under own initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
Ability to fault find and repair down to component level.
Knowledge of event technical equipment.
Knowledge of Current RMS or similar stock control systems.
PAT Testing qualification.
Health and Safety understanding and implementation.
Basic knowledge of common desktop productivity software (MS Office Suite, OpenOffice, etc).
